The Squadron has access to many sporting events and opportunities. MOst competitions are run initially at a Wing level, where the Squadron competes against teams from other units in the area (our area covers East Lancashire).

If the team is successful, either the whole team or individuals may be picked to represent the Region (North of England). The same system works all the way up to Corps level, where you may be picked to represent the whole of the Air Cadets.

Badges are awarded for Cadets who compete at Wing, Region and Corps levels.

In the last year, Cadets from 1104 Squadron have represented the Wing, Region or Corps at:

• Hockey
• Cross Country
• Athletics
• Netball
